You paged Vicki and Mike Cooper with 'A knock, polite and friendly is heard
at Vicki's door.'.

Vicki pages to Mike Cooper and Roger: It takes a little while for someone to
answer the door, as if the occupant is busy. But the door is answered, Vicki
back to you for a brief second before she looks to actually see who is there.
Bright smile fading, she manages a polite, "Hello."

Vicki pages: Come on down. :)

You walk into Vicki's apartment.

Whispering Pines - Vicki's Apt(#3044RJ)
The door opens into a small front hallway, where boots and coats can be hung
before entering the rest of the apartment. To the right is an open doorway
leading into a small kitchen, while left leads you into the living room. A huge
bookshelf predominates the main room, filled to overflowing with medical texts
and paperback fantasy books, except for the middle shelf, which appears bare in
comparison and contains only a few books and two medium sized statues. The
shelf's main occupants are the two statues, one of Anpw (Anubus), the other of
Bast. Both statues look to be actual originals from Egypt, or very clever
copies. Keeping the statues company is a small collection of Egyptology books,
lined up in the corners of the shelf.
The wall not covered with books contains a TV, with a couch and chair sitting
across from it. The living room has a general sense of comfort to it, with its
pastel colors and leather furniture. Wandering in and out of the room and small
white cat, hardly out of kittenhood. Adjoining to the living room is another
hallway, which leads into the two bedrooms and the bathroom.
+view enabled for the Kitchen, Spare Room, and the Cat.

FrontDoor

From Romper Room, Andrea can be heard to howl, ~People that have been waiting
for the Cleansing! @tel #3370~

Vicki is standing in the doorway, face mildly flushed and clothes a bit rumpled.
"Roger. How did you get past the security doors in the front?"

Roger stands at the frontdoor to the apartment, standard Khakis and button down,
neat and pressed, are the only sign that anything about him is upkept. His hair,
normally in a ponytail is splayed wildly across his back, along with his face,
which is a tad less then clean-shaven. "Good evening Vicki. What a surprise it
was to find that I knew one of my neighbors." He says with a upswept, otherwise
known as a 'shit-eating', grin. "Sorry to bother you at home... but we last met
on sour terms, and departed on somewhat more neutral ground. I just wanted to be
neighborly and stop by... for coffee perhaps. Or if you and your company are too
busy, I do understand." All this is said in mere seconds, and is said fluently
and clearly.

Vicki sighs, selfconciously smoothing her rumpled shirt. "No, come in. Just
figured you were Collin, thats all." She steps back from the door, letting you
inside. It doesn't look as if she has company.

Mike Cooper comes out of the bedroom.
Mike Cooper has arrived.

Mike Cooper comes down the hall from the bathroom and looks to see who the
visitor is.

Roger nods graciously and steps in, first steping both feet slowly across the
threshold and then walking normally. Roger then turns to nod to the other new
inhabitant of the apartment. "Hello there...", is all that is said to him before
attention is returned to Vicki. "Again, I apologize for showing up out of no..."
he drifts off for a moment, shrugs something off, then continues, "...nowhere
like this. It's kind of you to welcome me in."

Vicki sighs, rubbing at the back of her kneck. "I tend to get unexpected
visitors sometimes, don't worry about it." She turns, indicating Mike with a
jerk of her head. "This is Mike Cooper, Strider Kin. Mike, this is Roger, a
Walker."

Mike Cooper nods and extends a hand. "Good evening."

Roger ahs in acknowledgement of the human Strider. "Well met Mike... you look
the type prone to practice a martial art or two. Healthy muscle toned to near
perfection... at least perfection for a human body. No offence." he says as he
recieves Mike's hand and shakes it. "Perhaps, train others as well?"

Mike Cooper nods. "I am the Master at Cooper's School of Martial Arts and
Indiscriminate Grappling. My normal run of students is cubs and anyone who wants
a chance to work out in a place where the Veil is secure."

Vicki mutters something about making tea and disapears into the kitchen.

Roger nods smiling. "I have never trained a day in any martial art... but I know
over 10 of them. I guess application is different then knowledge though. I've
only had few needs to exercise my knowledge of hand to hand fighting." He then
fingers a bulge under one of his armpits, "This gift of cockroach is usually all
I need... unless spirit shreding is involved of course, but you would probably
know little about that kind of thing."

Mike Cooper nods. "Application is definitely different than theory. You can't
really say you know an art until using it is as instinctive as breathing. As for
spirit shredding....I've got a real nice collection of pelts back home. Courtesy
of either a wyldling or a chimera."

Roger nods once again, in acceptance of his words. "Ever been inside the belly
of a wyrm beast and had to fight your way out?"

Vicki comes back out of the kitchen with a tray, containing cups, suger, milk,
tea, and some brownies. She lays these on the coffee table, within easy acess
once people sit down on the couch.

Mike Cooper says "Nope. Definitely not something I'm interested in experiencing,
either. That's what my sister's business is. I teach and do support functions,
she goes shadowside and gets flamebroiled by banes."

Roger looks at the newly retreved refreshments and smiles. "Thank you much
Vicki, you are more then gracious." he then takes an empty seat on the couch and
turns to Mike. "Sister?"

Mike Cooper nods. "Sparrowhawk. The one with the jackal's voice."

Mike Cooper says "She is the daughter of my mother's sister. To gaje, it would
be....cousin. To my people, she is my sister."

Roger frowns. "Apologies... no one deserves that curse upon them. But what I
meant was, you spoke the word 'sister' with the familiarity of something
greater... and that must be it."

Vicki pours the tea, leaving how much suger and milk to put in up to the
individual drinkers. She sits down in the easyboy, aafter fixing up her own mug
and sipping from it silently.

From afar, to the room, Mike Cooper thinks I'm confused, but that's ok.

Mike Cooper smiles warmly at Vicki and picks up a brownie and cup of tea. "Well,
I think Alex would agree that nobody deserves that curse...especially not a
Galliard. But it was that or ostracism, is my guess."

Roger looks to the coffee table, obtains a cup of tea along with a brownie, and
sits back to contentedly nibble and sip.

Vicki looks into her tea cub, minutly swiling the contents. "You said neigbor
eariler, you live in this building?"

Roger looks up to Vicki from his cup and a thought that was dwelling in his
mind. "Neighbor? Oh yes, I live in Building A... I'd noticed you come into the
building before and saw you enter your room as well. Incidently of course. As
well as I noticed Mike here coming into your apartment eariler."

Vicki lifts a eyebrow, then makes a point of sipping from her tea. "Of course."

Mike Cooper cocks his head thoughtfully. Boy must spend WAY too much time around
wolves... "Hmm...interesting."

Roger then abrubtly stands and sets down his cup and plate. "I thank you again
for your hospitality Vicki... but I must be going now, things to take care of
shadow side... Self-Preservation if you will."

Mike Cooper hrms. "Good hunting. I'll let Vicki's mate know you checked in on
her."

Vicki blinks. "Um-uh, of course. Have a good evening."

Roger bows thoughtfully to Mike and nods with a smile to Vicki. "Good eve to you
as well..." he says before stepping to the front door and letting himself out.

As soon as Roger leaves, Vicki gets up from her chair and locks the front door.
"Now that guy is /creepy/."

Mike Cooper nods in agreement. "Yeah. That's why I made it a point to mention
your mate. Something about him inclines me to serious lack of trust."

From afar, to the room, Mike Cooper grins. Excellent job, Roger.

Thank you for visiting.

Please return soon.
